I’ve always been a storyteller…
I graduated from Sweet Briar College with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Studio Art. My concentration was photography, specifically medium-format film photography.
But more than that, I discovered my preference for using art and empathetic, authentic conversation to connect people to the world around them.
Speaking up for those who need it…
I chose to attend law school so that I could make a difference in the world and bring my advocacy work to the next level. I graduated from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law with a concentration in environmental law. After graduation, I worked in the nonprofit sector, for animal rights and environmental protection organizations.
While working as an attorney, I found my voice and developed an ability to convey complex, divisive issues in a manner that engaged the public and inspired action.

At the end of 2021, I decided to pivot from my nonprofit environmental law career because it became clear to me that our legal system was not the best path to generating the change I wanted to see.
I've always had a passion for connecting with people from a place of empathy and authenticity – whether with my art or in a philosophical discussion. So, I enrolled in several copywriting courses with expert copywriter Alex Cattoni and founded my sole proprietorship Pink Barn Creative.
Today, I utilize my unique skills and experiences to elevate important voices so I can help each of my deserving clients continue to achieve the change they want to see in the world.
